Decibel Artist Management was founded in 2009 on the sunny beaches of South Florida by a dreamer by the name of Eric deTuscan. Through his love of the art, his creativity, and his entrepreneurial spirit he began working alongside local musicians helping them to realize their potential and talent. His hard work and perseverance allowed him to get his artists noticed by Sony Records and famed producer Kevin Rudolf, work alongside heavy metal, heavy hitters Trivium and eventually Blues-Rock Titan Joe Bonamassa! In 2013 Eric was offered a position as a marketing manager at J&R Adventures, Joe Bonamassa's independant label putting a pause on Decibel Artist for the foreseeable future. It was at J&R where he was given a roller coaster ride of an education into the world of the music industry! Eric suddenly found himself learning from the best about tour logistics, tour promotion, concert venue agreements and eventually found himself managing Joe's international promoters. Due to his success and natural talent for the industry, Eric was eventually made the Executive Director of Joe's Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation where he oversaw weekly donations to schools around the nation! Little did he know this new role would take him to the open seas to organize the wildly successful Blues Alive at Sea cruises which in his tenure raised over $300,000 in donations going directly to music departments around the country!
Outside of music, Eric grew to love the mountains of WNC and considered North Carolina home. So he passed the torch at KTBA and moved up to the beautiful smokies to pick up where he left off with Decibel Artist Management (plus a whole lot more experience) and help the incredible talent in North Carolina to realize their potential! Oh, and as I am writing this about myself in the third-person, if he can do some good along the way and help to preserve the history of music in the Smokies, he'd (I) would be pretty happy!
