Alex Krug Combo

The Alex Krug Combo is a dream-rock/americana band rolling out of Asheville, NC.  The six piece combo is engrossed in landscape, atmosphere and melodic ecstasy.  Alex’s strange and wonderful voice at times fastens so closely to Gramig’s harmony, while the other-worldly lap steel, gritty watery electric guitar, and upright bass are all held together by Bill Berg’s expansive groove. This band will not exit a stage without leaving the audience in some sort of terribly wonderful stupor.

• Latest album Gentle Spotted Giants was produced by Michael Selverne (has worked with artists including Motley Crew, Steep Canyon Rangers, India.Arie, Live, etc) and Jessica Tomasin (Echo Mountain Studio).  The album includes drummer Bill Berg (Blood on the Tracks, Bob Dylan) and Lyndsay Pruett (Jon Stickley Trio, Futureman).
