Matt Dahlheimer is a guitar player. He's played the northeast US since the 1980s in string bands, dub reggae bands, blues groups, alternative rock bands and improv noise troupes. He began developing a flatpicking acoustic approach in the early 2000s in addition to electric guitar playing.  Since moving to the south in 2013 Matt has been concentrating on solo flatpicking performance. Not comfortable being pinned down to one particular style, Matt's shows range from foot stomping crowd pleasers to intimate instrumental event performances. As Augusta's Arts In The Heart described him, "Matt combines Appalachian roots and a wide net of tunes to brew an upbeat adventurous stew."  From his home in Augusta, Matt regularly plays the southeast from Atlanta and Athens to Asheville and all points in between.
