What started as an experimental collaboration in the summer of 2014, creating moody electro-jazz covers of grunge and progressive rock songs played in dark, moody jazz and blues clubs, has grown into an original, modern sound grounded in pop/rock/soul/jazz/r&b groove foundations that hit hard. REL's sound blends and evolves, featuring original music and throw-back tunes with fresh takes, shifting easily from a large stage rock vibe that keeps the crowd dancing, to intimate club and listening-room shows, to special events with a set feel.
