Brandi Mizilca is best known for Bellydance and Interpretive Movement, but her lifelong love of dance is a natural extension of her passion for and involvement in music.
She plays and composes songs on guitar as well as playing world percussion instruments and drum kit. She has recorded harmony vocals and percussion tracks for various songwriters and bands and currently plays a variety of instruments in Chikomo Marimba Band. Studying the distinctions and intersections among various styles of ethnic music and dance from around the world is her unending fascination.
Brandi Mizilca also manages the booking and PR for the Stars of Jerusalem Garden and is the Media, Marketing, and PR Director for Asheville Rhythm and Free Planet Radio.
