Soul- Folk singer from Asheville, NC. Currently residing in Los Angeles, CA.
This past year has been an eventful one for Brie. From traveling cross-country for her acoustic tour promoting her second EP, to opening for songwriting greats like Kevin Devine, Mason Jennings, Nicole Atkins and Erika Wennerstrom, she’s learned a lot and stayed quite busy. Most recently she has relocated to the west coast for a new perspective while she continues to work on her songwriting and performance.
As part of a solo acoustic tour over the summer, Brie performed at The Hotel Cafe, Red Poppy Art House in San Francisco and her second SoFar Sounds show while on tour in California promoting her newest EP “If I Let You In” (2018) . Which was recorded once again in part at Echo Mountain Recording Studios (White Denim, War on Drugs, Dawes)
Brie's single 'Scars' from Orbit her 2016 EP, was awarded Judge's Choice at Asheville Music Video Awards in 2017. The song has garnered over 49,000 organic streams on Spotify. As a solo acoustic artist, Brie has performed at legendary venues including The Kennedy Center in DC, The Lincoln Center, The Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall and more. She is also the winner of 2017's New Song Singer-Songwriter Competition in conjunction with LEAF festival in Black Mountain.
After college Brie made the move to NYC and was part of the pop/rock duo The Humble Grapes from 2013-2015. Performing in legendary venues such as The Bitter End, Bowery Electric, & Rockwood Music Hall. After an amicable split with her songwriting partner, Brie headed back home to Asheville, NC in 2016. There she wrote and recorded her solo EP "Orbit" at Echo Mountain Studios in downtown Asheville released in 2016.
